Habitude App Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy provides information regarding the processing of Data provided by the user when using the Application. It specifies the data collected, its purpose, the reason for collection, how it may affect the user, and various other information about the user's personal data.
To access the app, you must carefully read the Privacy Policy before registering. By creating an account, the user fully accepts the app's privacy policies.
Collection and use of personal data
Upon registration, the user acknowledges, authorizes, and freely manifests their consent without any reservation that we offer a platform for the user to create habits, on a limited basis in the free version (8 habits) and add a profile picture to their account.
Information you provide directly to us
- Name and email at the time of registration.
- Photo (Optional) that the user can add on the profile page.
- Communications between you and Habitude. We may send you Service-related emails such as updates, technical and security notices. Please note that you may not opt out of Service-related emails.
Health Services Integration (Apple Health & Google Fit)
Habitude may request your consent to access health and fitness data through Apple HealthKit (on iOS) or Google Fit / Health Connect (on Android). This integration serves exclusively to automate the tracking of your habits (for example, synchronizing steps or time spent meditating/exercising directly into the app).
- Compliance and Limited Use: Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google or Apple health APIs will tightly adhere to the User Data policies of those platforms.
- Prohibition of Advertising and Data Sale: We guarantee that we do not use, sell, rent, or share your health or fitness data to advertising platforms, ad networks, data brokers, or for information resale.
- Secure Storage and Deletion: Any health data read by us is used strictly for the visual progression of your habits and is securely linked to your account. The deletion of your account from within the app will simultaneously and irreversibly erase any health data read and synced by Habitude.
Premium Account
By acquiring the premium account, the user acknowledges that all listed features will be available for use on their account only after payment confirmation.
Premium account modalities
- Lifetime: In this modality, the user acquires the premium version of the app indefinitely.
- Subscription (Recurring Billing): The user can choose a monthly or annual subscription. The premium version of the app will be available to the user until they cancel the subscription on Google Play or the App Store.
Account Deletion
To delete your account and all your data in our app (habits, achievements, level, etc.) you can access the Account Settings in the Settings menu on the profile screen, click on Delete Account and confirm the deletion of your account and all your data. Upon confirmation, you will lose access to our app and your account and all your data will be permanently removed from our database.
Data Retention
Habitude stores and retains your personal data only for as long as your account in the application is active, which is necessary to provide our services. When you undergo the account deletion procedure through the app, all your personal and usage data are immediately and irreversibly removed from our servers. We do not keep possession or retention of your data after account closure.
Your Rights and Data Security (LGPD/GDPR Compliance)
Habitude adopts standard commercial practices and technical security measures to protect your personal data. Your progress is cryptographically stored in secure cloud infrastructure (such as Google providers and Firebase database). You have the right at any time to: confirm the existence of data processing, request the correction of inaccurate records through our support area, and demand the portability or effective deletion of your account (revocation of consent), as detailed in the deletion clause.
Children's Privacy
One of our app's main premises is to be a safe open environment, however, our services are not directed at children under 13 and we do not intentionally collect personal information from children under this age group. If it comes to your knowledge as a parent or legal guardian that a child has provided personal data (such as email and name) to us, contact us for proper actions. Any data detected under these conditions is immediately discarded from our servers.
Changes to this Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. These modifications are effective and valid from the moment they are published on this link. It is advisable that our users revisit this policy whenever convenient.
Consent
Acceptance of the Privacy Policy will occur upon user account creation. It is not possible to partially accept this Privacy Policy – if you do not fully agree, you must not create an account or use the application.
